The Never Never Club

The Club provides activities for children and young people in Blaenavon. A grant paid for a group of 9-16 years old to attend a Cardiff City Soccer School during the summer holidays. Read more…

Solas Cymru

Solas Cymru, has been providing projects and services for homeless and socially excluded individuals for over 25 years. A grant enabled Solas to purchase equipment which enabled a group of young people to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Read more…

Woodlands Field

The Woodlands Field Group offers a programme of adult education and activities for young people. A grant paid for a number of local families to go on a 2-week summer camp where participants engaged in a range of confidence building activities. Read more…

Bullies Out

Bullies Out has developed an educational awareness project which aims to reduce the impact of bullying on young peoples’ lives. A grant enabled the project to expand its work in Gwent, carrying out workshops for parents and carers in Torfaen. Read more…

Buzz Youth Group

Buzz Youth Group empowers young people in Blaina, providing a programme of activities which seek to provide positive alternatives to anti-social behaviour . A grant was awarded to support the costs of a youth-led bike hire and repair shop in the town. Read more…

A grant supported an innovative new cross generational initiative which engages young people with the needs of vulnerable elderly residents in the community. Read more…

Vehicle Crime Awareness Days

This is a multi-agency initiative which provides educational courses to young people on the dangers of vehicle crime and the negative effect this has on the community. Read more…

Duffryn Community Link – Midnight Sports

The project provides diversionary activities for local youth, engaging them in sports and other constructive activities that help reduce anti-social behaviour. read more…

Get Going Project

The Get Going Project was a joint initiative summer project between Monmouthshire Youth Services and Dance Blast Community Dance. The project provided a series of 5-day workshops and activities in four different rural areas within Gwent. read more…

Gwent Bobby Van Trust

The scheme provides a free lock and security fitting service to the homes of the elderly and most vulnerable members of our society living within Gwent. Since its launch in 1988 over 28,000 homes have been secured by the scheme. read more…
